Our menu changes regularly to ensure there is always a new dish for you to try. The basis stays the same though – fresh food prepared to the highest standard. We also currently have a number of seafood specials available (well we are touching distance away from the sea!!) including Scallops, Tiger Prawns, Tuna and Lobster (which we can also get in on request, please let us know when you book). To Start

Home-made Soup of the Day served with freshly baked crusty bread

Succulent BBQ Pork Ribs slow cooked in our chefs own tangy bbq sauce

Sauteed Lamb Kidneys & Black Pudding with a dijonaisse sauce served on a bed of mixed leaf salad

Mussels, in a white wine, garlic and cream sauce with warm crusty bread

Goats Cheese Salad (V) warmed served with mixed leaf, beetroot and pine nuts

Torpedo King Prawns with a sweet chilli dip

Smoked Haddock and Prawn Fishcake with a lemon and dill mayonnaise

Chef's Pate served with Melba toast and red onion chutney

 

The Main Course

Seared Gressingham Duck Breast laced with a Cointreau and orange sauce accompanied by sauteed new potatoes and seasoanl vegetables

Chicken or Beef Sizzla, strips of Chicken or Beef fillet with carrot, red onion and mixed peppers bound in a sticky Chinese style hoi sin sauce served sizzling with noodles

Lamb Shank, slowly braised melt in the mouth lamb with a spring onion mash and fresh vegetables finished with a rosemary and cranberry sauce 

Rib-Eye Steak, 8oz served with home-made chunky chips, onion rings and peppercorn sauce with mixed leaf salad

Pan-fried Chicken Breast, wrapped in bacon on a bed of creamy mash with veg and a Corona sauce

Leek and Potato Bake (V), diced leek and potatoes in a creamy sauce topped with breadcrumbs and melted cheese served with mixed leaf salad

Pan-Seared Salmon Fillet, lightly dusted with cajun spice set on a beed of prawn linguine bound in a white wine creamy sauce

8oz Fillet Steak served with home-made chunky chips, a rocket, parmesan and tomato salad with a brandy and peppercorn sauce (10oz & 12oz also available)
